Description

Located near the village of Coxwold, Newburgh Priory was founded in 1145. The house today is still the family home of Sir George & Lady Wombwell and their children.

During your visit you can explore a water garden, hand crafted topiary, a walled garden, woodland walks and in the wider parkland, a large lake. With breathtaking views, the gardens make for an ideal photo spot.

Refuel in the charming Old Priory Kitchen Tearoom with drinks and home-baked cakes or enjoy sitting outside amongst the ivy in the Long Gallery ruins.
