National centre for Birds of Prey

Birds you wont see in your garden

    Description

The National Centre for Birds of Prey is a new and exciting visitor attraction located at the Duncombe Park estate in Helmsley, set within the world famous North York Moors National Park. Many of the birds that live there fly in the skies in their spectacular flying demonstrations or are an important part of breeding projects.

The centre is home to many birds including the Burrowing Owl and the Steller’s Sea Eagle. There is a free ink stamp trail and a free word search/colouring in sheet for children, in addition you can take a stroll in the stunning 300 acres of woodland and parkland of Duncombe Park surrounding the centre.
