Gregson Builders was founded in Stamford Bridge, near York, by local builder Alan Gregson in 1976. His vision of providing a range of quality building services at affordable prices has underpinned our success for nearly 40 years.
Alan’s son Michael now manages the family business and is committed to building on and extending his father’s vision across the York area.
Michael and his team focus on delivering customer satisfaction and efficient project management, keeping control of time and costs without sacrificing the high quality that made Gregson Builders successful for four decades.

"The work you did on the re-modelling of the kitchen and building the extension to our house, the new wet rom and bathroom has made such a difference to our lifestyle. Family and friends who visit all remark on what a super job has been done.
It was great to find a builder who started on time, didn't leave the job once started and completed on time and - what's more - cleaned up after yourselves. We really appreciated how you put yourselves out to accomodate all of the additional work we wanted doing and for making what could have been a traumatic several weeks as stress free as possible." - Mr & Mrs P, Upper Poppleton
"They made the whole process of having an extension a relatively painless process. They gave a very competitive quote, started and finished when they said they would and were thoroughly professional throughout. We have small children and so safety was a key concern of ours. Michael and his team ensured the site was tidy at the end of each day and their tools were kept away from little fingers!
This was the first building project we've ever done and they talked us through the whole process at every stage. Even when we changed the design they were happy to accomodate our wishes. We were dreading the final bill but this was very reasonable considering what we'd changed." - Mr W, Haxby
