A seven-week deep dive course into the Feldenkrais method, with each week’s lesson involving new parts of the body and new Feldenkrais learning principles.
The Feldenkrais method is a holistic mind-brain-body approach to learning motor skills, inspired by neuroscience, martial arts, physics and child development.
Gentle and calming, these mat-based classes are for all ages and abilities to learn how to move more easily and effectively. Benefits are improved sporting performance, recovery from stress or pain and moving through daily life with more grace and ease.
Class sizes are kept small, to provide personal attention. The teacher guides students through exploratory movement patterns – rolling, sitting and more – with a focus on ease, comfort and noticing sensations.
Students can also attend for one-off taster lessons during the course if they are unable to attend all seven classes.
