Here at Your Local Link we're always putting on a cheeky show or two. Helen dances with feathers, while Lisa does a saucy little pirate-themed number, complete with live parrot. We are by far the best Burlesque troupe in this particular part of Haxby, so we were a bit miffed to hear about An Evening of Burlesque taking place at The Barbican on 11^th November. They're bound to pinch our audience, as apparently the show, direct from London's West End, is a sizzling spectacular with an all-star cast of elegant, beautiful performers - no doubt far more attractive that Howard in a wig.
